Vino Monte Cristo

Cerasuolo is a classical Abruzzo wine, obtained from Montepulciano grapes fermented in white, or without contact of the grape skins with the must during maceration.

The color is a red hue expressed as “cirasce” (which in the Abruzzo’s dialect means cherry) from which the name has been established “cherry” or “Cerasuolo”.

Cerasuolo Montepulciano D’Abruzzo D.O.C.

It has a dry taste with hints of almond and red fruits such as apples, plums, peaches and cherries of course.

The scent and flavor are ampli ed and persistent. It should be considered a red wine, but some indicate Cerasuolo to be a rosè wine.
